Agricultural Building Quotations

A system for creating, printing and emailing complex quotations for customised agricultural buildings, developed for a local client.

Developed using PHP with MySQL and the CodeIgniter framework, the system include customer and contact management, the maintenance of a large variety of component materials, and the creation of quotations for individual building based on these. Tempaltes can be created for sections of a quotation to be re-used in similar buildings.

The quotation module makes extensive use of jQuery Ajax to update the quotation as it is being created, based on a complex set of calculations depending on the building’s size aand construction.
